Photos to come :)Mullumbimby! What an amazing place!!! It was raining heavily when I was here but it brought out the beauty of the tropical meets country landscape. Stunning!Mooyabil Farm Holidays :) where to begin? The owners were lovely and informative, directing us where to go and find our lodge accommodation - across the road, down the way from their home. The separate residential lodges are adjoined side by side & we were one of the first residents in. We were all tired from the long drive so we unloaded our things from the van and got comfortable. Once inside the cottage, it's an open living/kitchen room setting, which was clean and tidy. I love this kind of set up because it's easily accessible, and means everyone comes together over good food, wine and a game of cards hahaa There were two bedrooms which were also clean and tidy and the bathroom was spotless. Everything worked, even the TV - the owner providing a folder with instructions on how to use the TV and DVD player. We didn't bring DVDs but fortunately, I had a USB and my sister had some movies on her laptop so we downloaded some onto the USB and enjoyed a movie night in. I also spent time looking in the folder, the owner kindly providing info on places to go out and explore - like Mt Warning, and eateries around the local hub of Mullumbimby hahahaWe all slept comfortably, the owners providing sheets and blankets, kitchen utensils (tea, coffee and sugar, salt sachets), and bathroom basics. It was all so organised and lovely.The next morning after heavy rain, I had a cuppa and sat outside to enjoy the sunrise looking out onto the country farmlands of Mullumbimby. The pool facility was amazing! Had to have a dip before heading south and boy, was it soothing! It really made me feel like I had a getaway!.I'd like to thank the owners for their hospitality, and for providing this lovely holiday treasure that you do need to look carefully for amongst all the dearer alternatives. I HIGHLY recommend this place if you want to escape to a simple, laidback, home away from home, on a "bang-for-your-buck" budget!!!

Awesome Experience Staying in Mooyabil FArm Holidays with wonderful facilities like fireplaces,bathrooms and Large BBQ area.I specially liked the front varenda with outdoor setting.The Wifi access was superb...
Very large unit with comfortable furniture and a well equipped kitchen. Cooktop (but no oven) with microwave and full size fridge. Good TV and a lovely wood fire. Hosts provided all the kindling and logs. Cows in the paddock outside the windows each morning were a bonus. We were allowed to bring our dog inside provided we supplied bedding and covered the couches with sheets, which we always do anyway. Daily visits from the owners' Kelpie, Lucy, were a highlight for us and for our dog, Oscar. Water pressure in shower not very strong, but still had pleasant hot showers. Only negative is poor wi-fi reception. We had to go into town (5 minute drive) to get a good connection. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Recommended.
