Absolutely fantastic experience. I had really good communication from the get go. I moved from the Northern Beaches in Sydney to the Gold Coast and everyone I spoke to from the initial office contacts to the movers were completely on top of it. They were the most reasonably priced from my research that had the reputation I needed. Not only that but all the movers were professional and knew what they were doing as well as being really nice blokes which just made the process that much better. Can't recommend them highly enough.
Ouch. As a single female mover, I'd suggest you look elsewhere. They called 2 days before the expected moving day and tried to put the quote up by 50%. I absolutely refused to pay the extra money (just couldn't afford it). When they picked up my things, they badly damaged the concrete driveway with their truck, but I didn't say anything. After they unloaded at the destination, they inadvertently gave me back the security fob to the flat. That was exceptionally lucky for me as they again tried to add on several hundred dollars to the fee. I said I was happy to pay the original quote but no more. The man said he was going to put my belongings back on the truck if I didn't pay the extra money. At this point he realised I had the security fob and he couldn't get in. I genuinely thought he was going to assault me to get the fob. I was so scared I could hardly dial the police number. It wasn't until I got through to the police that he left me alone. I was really shaken. I did pay the original amount quoted a few days later, but regret that I didn't reduce the amount to account for the horrible experience.
