waited over an hour and a half to be served a beetle in my meal, no-one cares about costumer service very disappointed
I love this pub and this town, I grew up here. However I found my stay a disappointment due to another hotel patron. While trying to catch up with my brother, who had come over from Ireland after three years, we were continually harassed by a woman cling to be "phsycic". She abused my mother and my brother and continued to invade my personal space. This made showing his Irish girlfriend the wonders of Mullumbimby.
Unfortunately they were run off their feet and there were mix ups with the kitchen. Im sure under better circumstances the food would have been great with the $15 menu if we are back there again out side of school holidays and festival season ill def drop back in and give them another try.
Don't be fooled by the $15 meals as being cheap pub food. They are bloody awesome and there is something for everyone on the menu, even a vegan special most days. The whole place is a good pub with great seating spots and a nice outdoor area. The only reason its not 5 star is because of the lack of craft beer, otherwise its stellar.
Great down to earth place. The locals were really friendly and chatted for a few hours. Stayed for dinner and at 15 dollars a main it was fantastic. Will be back there again as soon as I can
